DESCRIPTION:Register here\nEvent Description\nOnline \nThe attendees will first be provided an overview of the modifications of the immune system associated with pregnancy\, and then in one hand the burden of the disease and in the other hand the impact for the mother and/or the child of vaccination during pregnancy\, particularly for 3 diseases: influenza\, pertussis\, and RSV infection. \nIntended audience: \nInfectious Diseases Specialists; Obstetricians Interested In Vaccination; Midwives; NITAG Members. \nObjectives: \n\nEvaluate the increased susceptibility of pregnant women to vaccine-preventable diseases.\nInvestigate the development of immune responses to vaccination in pregnant women.\nAssess the efficacy of vaccination in preventing specific infections during pregnancy (e.g.\, pertussis\, influenza\, RSV\, Covid-19).\nDetermine factors influencing the adherence of pregnant women and their families to vaccination recommendations.\n\nCourse coordinator: \nOlivier Epaulard\nCentre Hospitalier Universitaire Grenoble Alpes\nFrance \nOrganisers: \nEVASG – Vaccines \nAccreditation: \nThe ESCMID Education team will apply for accreditation to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) \nCertification: \nCourse organisers will monitor attendance.
